White film and residue on dishes……

Are you getting a white filmy residue on your dishes ? We get a tremendous amount of calls about dishwashers that are leaving a white filmy residue on the dishes after the cycle is completed. The solution to this issue is quite simple most of the time. Sometimes this is due to poor circulation of water flow though your dishwasher or possibly water temperature issues. Water circulation problems can be caused by cracks in pump housings, spray arms or upper rack manifold hoses. Some water temperature issues can be caused by bad heating elements or lime build up on the heating element itself. A helpful tip is to first run a cleaner through your machine such as “Dishwasher Magic” and then the additive of either “Glass Magic” or “Lemon Shine” to your regular powder soap during each wash cycle should help.
