One of the main complaints we get these days about front load washers is that they always have an offensive odor. I personally have a whirlpool full size front loader that i use about 5-6 times a week. I have tried pretty much all the different cleansers on the market to rid my machine of this HORRID ODOR !! but to no avail……What i found works best is to mix a 50/50 bleach and water solution and pull back the tub boot away from the inside basket a little and then scrub underneath it with a soft bristle brush. Then take 3-4 cups of bleach and pour it directly into the tub and then set your machine to the hottest wash cycle available. Let that stinky washer run and at the end of the cycle you will be surprised with a clean fresh scent. After that i just always leave the door cracked open a little to let the machine air and dry out and these odors stay gone for a very long time.
